Workshop Aim

This workshop is for those that wish to master the skills involved in creating compelling and realistic composite images using Photoshop.

Workshop Description

During the workshop we will explore techniques for creating realistic or artistic images using elements extracted from other images and bring them together in a cohesive finished product. We will explore the importance of lighting conditions in each element and creation of accurate selections together with storytelling and how to add emotion in your composite work.

In addition we will be exploring brushes and textures to create artistic masterpieces from nothing.

Prior Learning

It is expected that attendees will have a basic knowledge of Photoshop Techniques. Some areas of Photoshop you will be learning more advances techniques. If you need help mastering the basics of Photoshop there are videos to help you on my training website www.livelinktraining.com.

Learning Objectives

By the end of the course, you will learn

  1. Creating a story for your project

  2. Creating accurate selections

  3. Refining selections using masks

  4. Advanced Photoshop editing tools

  5. Achieve a consistent colour finish

  6. Create static and dynamic brushes

  7. Create and apply textures

Canvas online learning area

Whether your course is face to face or online, Livelink Training uses its online learning platform called Canvas, to support your learning and give you access to downloadable workfiles to work on during the course.

Zoom

Your course is online, you will join a virtual classroom using a weblink. We uses a video-conferencing tool called Zoom. To use Zoom you will need a Laptop, Computer, Tablet or Smart phone which has speakers, a microphone and a video camera. For some courses, to submit work, we advise you to use a laptop or computer. It is recommended that you use a computer to upload work for feedback.

Recording

Each session will be recorded and available to all attendees to be used for personal learning only and must not be posted, copied or shared. In addition all attendees will receive a printable PDF containing useful how to tips for each lesson.
